WHO WE ARE
Southern Accord Chorus is a diverse group of dynamic women who love to sing four- part A Capella harmony. Many of our talented members come to us without musical training but with a love of singing and performing.
With the support of Sweet Adelines International, we build our music and performance skills. Membership in Southern Accord Chorus makes life busy and fun. At weekly rehearsals, we exercise our voices, learn new songs--and we even learn to dance a little bit!
Southern Accord Chorus performs a wide range of A Capella music, from modern to swing, gospel to rock, and even seasonal offerings in addition to traditional barbershop arrangements. We create and produce our own shows, and welcome opportunities to perform at a variety of community venues.
Southern Accord Chorus regularly participates in the annual regional competition for adjudication.

ABOUT US
Southern Accord Chorus was chartered in 1998 as an affiliate chapter of Sweet Adelines International. The chorus began with 18 charter members and have now grown to over 30 members.
We rehearse every Wednesday from 6:45 – 9:45 p.m. at McNally School/Community Centre, South of Lethbridge.
MUSIC TEAM
Our Directors and Assistant Director came to us with excellent musical backgrounds and have developed their barbershop and leadership skills through the Director Certification Program of Sweet Adelines International.
